C&#039;est la structure architecturale la plus importante jamais construite par l’être humain.<br /> <br /> Elle a été construite du IIIe siècle av. J.-C. au XVIIe siècle après JC.<br /> <br /> Véritable fortification, la Grande Muraille a été mise en place pour protéger la frontière nord de la Chine. À plusieurs reprises, la Grande Muraille de Chine a été en partie détruite, puis reconstruite. Aujourd&#039;hui encore, des travaux sont régulièrement menés pour préserver ce monument étroitement lié à l&#039;histoire de la Chine. <br /> <br /> Depuis 1987, la Grande Muraille est classée au patrimoine mondial de l&#039;UNESCO. Elle est une des principales attractions touristiques du pays. Environ 15 à 16 millions de personnes visitent la Muraille de Chine chaque année.</div>
