La période d&#039;incubation (période entre laquelle le virus est entré et où les premiers symptômes apparaissent) est d&#039;environ 21 jours. <br /> <br /> * SYMPTOMES<br /> <br /> Cette maladie virale se caractérise par un gonflement des glandes salivaires ; elles seront également douloureuses. Des maux de tête et de la fièvre peuvent également traduire des oreillons. <br /> <br /> * TRAITEMENT<br /> <br /> Seul le vaccin permet d&#039;éviter une contamination. Cependant, dans le cas échéant, il est conseillé de rester couché et de soigner la fièvre.
