Les articles de Wikimini pourront prochainement être classés dans des catégories. Les wikiminautes pourront donc accéder au contenu de l'encyclopédie par un index thématique, en plus de l'index alphabétique et du moteur de recherche par mots-clés déjà existants.

Introduction

L'index thématique sera basé sur une liste hiérarchisée de catégories prédéfinies et recouvrant l'ensemble des connaissances humaines. Wikimini prévoit d'utiliser l'une des versions de la classification décimale de Dewey (CDD) adaptée aux enfants. Ce système est le plus utilisé au monde et implémenté dans la plupart des bibliothèques et centres de documentation scolaires où il constitue même un objectif d'apprentissage.

L'éditeur d'un article pourra très simplement sélectionner dans une liste hiréarchisée les catégories dans lesquelles il souhaite classer l'article qu'il est en train de modifier. Contrairement au rangement de documents physiques en bibliothèques, les articles de Wikimini pourront se trouver dans plusieurs catégories.
