Google

Google est le nom de la société américaine qui a fondé le célèbre moteur de recherche sur Internet qui lui a donné son nom. Cette société a été fondée le 4 septembre 1998 dans la Silicon Valley en Californie (Etats-Unis).

Son nom vient du nombre gogol (en anglais google) qui équivaut à 1 avec 100 zéros !

Le moteur de recherche Google

Il a été créé en 1998 par les américains Larry Page et Sergey Brin. Il est aujourd'hui le plus utilisé des moteurs de recherche.
